''Passion overrules my pain'' are the lyrics from the Boston singers debut EP ''Eleven'', which debuted in January of 2020. At just 8 years old, Ashley started to experience the power of music and knew exactly what she wanted to do with her life; heal others through the sound of her voice and the words that followed.
During high school, she spent most of her time singing, posting covers on youtube, and writing songs with her friends to help time go by.
After high school, Ashley attended Middlesex Community College for music performance from 2013-2015. During 2014 Ashley’s creative side really started flourish. She made her 1st mixtape named “166”. Ashley gifted that mixtape to one of her close friends for her birthday. The mixtape was based off of the retail store she and her 2 close friends all worked at.
In 2015, Ashley auditioned and was accepted into the music department at University of Massachusetts Lowell as a music performance major. During her time as at UML, the mezzo-soprano vocalist immediately had an interest and liking towards jazz. She would spend hours in her dorm room listening to Ella Fitzgerld scat sing and eventually taught herself how to scat. Soon she begin showcasing her scatting amongst her professors and during auditions which ended up landing her many placements in the Jazz Ensembles at UMass Lowell. During her time at UMass Lowell, Ashley also explored other genres including r&b, blues and contemporary.
During the summer of 2019, Ashley taught herself music production in Logic X Pro and started working on her very first ever EP “Eleven”, which debuted in January of 2020. Ashley produced, composed and wrote “Eleven”, entirely on her own.
In December 2020, Ashley released her single “Limitations” which caught the attention of the Lowell Spin. Lowell Spin wrote an entire review about “Limitations” not only commending her for producing this song entirely on her own, but also describing her song as “beautifully sparkling”, in March 2021.
On August 12, 2022, Ashley released a single called, “Black Hole”.
